Bauxite is the principal ore of Aluminium, composed mainly of hydrous aluminium oxides and aluminium hydroxides. These minerals are Gibbsite, Boehmite and diaspore. Bauxite is formed through laterization of aluminious rocks. This bauxite is heated at a very high temperature to get Calcined bauxite.
